Parking Reminder at the Town centre
As construction work continues in the Town cent54 area, residents are reminded that the usual parking regulations remain in effect on surrounding residential streets. All applicable parking restrictions, including the 4-hour parking limit, continue to apply and will be enforced. We thank motorists for respecting the posted signage and parking regulations to help ensure a positive experience for area residents.
The Borough of Outremont will be carrying out construction work from July 20 to 22, resulting in the closure of Davaar Avenue.
Please note that construction work on Bates Road is ongoing. As a result, this closure may lead to a slight increase in traffic on Bates during this period.

Cornwall Avenue will be closed to all traffic between Regent Avenue and Canora Road for the duration of the work. Pedestrian access to businesses will be maintained throughout the project. Residents will continue to have access to parking areas via entrances on Regent Avenue.
Regent Avenue will be reduced to one-way northbound traffic between Balfour Avenue and Vivian Avenue.

Work to clear vegetation from power lines by Hydro-Québec in the Town of Mount Royal
Check the map to see where vegetation management work will take place in 2026 and 2027.
The Town will be carrying out water main rehabilitation works, which will cause traffic disruption. Please check the detour routes for details of lane closures and the detour routes in place.
The water shut-off originally scheduled for 6 May has been postponed to Thursday 7 May 2026 on Regent and Cornwall, as part of the drinking water network upgrade works.

Work on Bates Road is, for all intents and purposes, complete for the current season. It will resume in the spring on the south sidewalks and will conclude with the grading and paving of the roadway. Parking is once again available on the north side of the street (westbound), but is no longer available on the south side (eastbound). A new work update will be published when work resumes.
