The Town of Mount Royal is proud to be a diverse and inclusive municipality.
We make sure to follow our 2025 Action Plan as a guideline of what needs to be done to keep the Town’s disabled people safe and included. Simply put, the Action Plan aims to improve the lives of persons with disabilities in our town while supporting their integration into educational, professional and social environments.
The Action Plan is a step toward achieving the full and meaningful participation of persons with disabilities in the Town of Mount Royal, making their commute, their sports activities and their workplace accessible and safe. We know about the valuable contributions that persons with disabilities make to our community! We update our action plan and monitor the actions taken, in accordance with the commitments stipulated in the current action plan.

2023 Action Plan
The 2023 Action Plan for people with disabilities was the first one the Town of Mount Royal put together, after resolution #23-12-24 was put forward and carried unanimously by the Town Council members, on December 12, 2023.
