This summer, reduce your drinking water consumption
Ville de Montréal announced in early June that it will be carrying out major construction work to repair a water main supplying the city’s main water reservoir, and this situation will affect the Town of Mont-Royal.
This work could result in a significant shortage if all affected cities do not reduce their drinking water consumption.
What should I do?
TMR residents are asked to reduce their water consumption to prevent a disruption in the water supply.

Watering: Avoid fines
It is important to follow the schedule and duration guidelines for watering your lawn, as Public Security will strictly enforce these regulations. In addition, please turn off your automatic sprinkler system when it rains.
What will the Town of Mount Royal do?
The Town has modified some of its activities to reduce water consumption during this period. For example, street cleaning will be done without water, and vehicle cleaning will be suspended; furthermore, watering of flower beds on medians will be kept to a minimum.
Water games in parks will remain operational for public health reasons; our water games are equipped with motion sensors that activate only when users are present.
