The “A Tree for My Neighborhood” campaign returns from May 1 to 24, 2026. Organized by the Regroupement des éco-quartiers and Soverdi, it invites residents of the Island of Montreal to take concrete action to combat climate change and green their neighborhoods.
Since 2013, more than 34,000 trees have been planted thanks to this citizen-led initiative.
New this year: the campaign is open to businesses and industries, as well as health and educational institutions, which can now purchase up to 10 trees to green their spaces, benefiting users, employees, and surrounding communities.
Those interested can purchase a tree starting at $25 at unarbrepourmonquartier.org and pick it up in mid-June through their eco-neighborhood.
