Good news: the Resilient Properties Program is now open to more property owners!

The TMR Town Council has decided to open registration to all property owners in the municipality whose property is eligible for the program, regardless of whether they have reported water damage since June 15, 2022.

Since there are still a few slots available for inspections between now and the end of October, Council members would like to offer you the opportunity to take advantage of the free “Resilient Properties” Inspection and Support Program in 2026.

As you know, this initiative, which aims to anticipate risks and reduce the vulnerability of certain buildings to heavy rainfall, complements the new asset and stormwater management strategy that TMR is implementing on its own.

The specialist firm JFSA Inc., which has been commissioned by the Town, will provide a free analysis and inspection of the plumbing systems of eligible properties, as well as outdoor installations such as landscaping, foundations and gutters, among other things.

Following its analysis, JFSA Inc. will provide the owner with a professional report that includes a diagnosis, recommendations and suggestions for improvements aimed at reducing the risk of sewer backups and water damage. A copy of the report will also be provided to the Town for its records.

Register onlineto take advantage of the free “Resilient Properties” inspection and support program.

Note: Property inspections that cannot be completed in 2026 will be postponed to 2027.
