Annual TMR Tennis Tournament – August 20th to September 10th, 2025
Members of the Town of Mount Royal’s tennis program are invited to register for the 2025 edition of the annual tennis tournament, taking place at Mohawk Park from August 20 to September 10.
Registration runs from July 28 to August 8. The tournament offers several categories: Women’s Singles, Women’s Singles (55+), Men’s Singles, Men’s Singles (55+), Junior Singles (ages 9–12), Junior Singles (ages 13–16), Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles. Please note that players may register for only one singles category.
The tournament will unfold over three weeks. The first and second rounds will take place from August 20 to 26. The third and fourth rounds will follow from August 27 to September 2, with final rounds held from September 3 to 10.
Matches follow a best-of-three sets format with tiebreaks in each set. In the event of rain, participants will be notified by email. Matches may be rescheduled within 48 hours of their original time; otherwise, players will be disqualified. Any rescheduling request must be sent by email at least 48 hours in advance, with three alternate time slots proposed for play within the following 48 hours. Balls will be provided only for the finals. For all other matches, both players or teams must bring a new can of tennis balls. Winners keep the new can; opponents use their own.
This year’s tournament will once again be managed online via the TeamSnap Tournaments platform. Participants should download the app, available for Apple and Android devices. The match schedule will be published there and on the official tournament website: https://townofmount-royal.teamsnapsites.com/.
