Warning Siren Test on May 8, 2024

A public warning siren will be tested near the Town of Mount Royal on Wednesday, May 8, between 9:00 and 15:00.

TMR residents located within range of the siren at the Saputo plant (2365 Côte-de-Liesse Road) in Saint-Laurent may hear it from 13:10 et 13:30. No specific measures need to be taken with regard to this warning siren test.

The warning sirens are meant to warn people who are outdoors to quickly find shelter if a toxic substance is released. In the event of a toxic release, go into the nearest building, close the doors and windows, and turn off the ventilation system.
