REM: Footbridge Openings - Preparatory Work Underway to Ensure Safety

Before we can open the pedestrian bridges to the public, the REM must carry out work at the bridge access points to eliminate any risk of intrusion onto the REM right-of-way. This work will begin next week, and we expect to open the bridges to the public by October 10.

Permit applications to occupy public space were submitted earlier this week at the Town to allow the work to proceed.

We understand the inconvenience this may cause to residents, but safety remains the top priority.
