Public Market - 2025 Review

The Mount Royal public market enjoyed busy evenings throughout the summer of 2025. Despite a few rainy evenings, producers, processors and artisans turned out in large numbers at Connaught Park and offered local and fresh products for 15 Thursdays, from June 19 to September 25 inclusively.

Visitors turned out rain or shine. We noted a drop in attendance of about 45% in September compared to September 2024, and we believe that the rain unfortunately played a role in this decline.

The presence of food trucks also delighted participants, who were able to sample different dishes each week.

The public market will be back in 2026; the schedule for exhibitors and food trucks will be confirmed in the spring.
