The Ministère des Transports wishes to notify road users that aerial signage structure replacement work scheduled from August 7 to 24 will require partial and complete closures of Autoroute 40 (Métropolitaine) and its westbound service lanes between Rue Jeanne-Mance and Avenue du Parc.

TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT

From Monday, August 8 to Wednesday, August 24

  • Long-term left lane closure (1 of 2 lanes open) on Boulevard Crémazie Ouest (westbound) between Rue Jeanne-Mance and Avenue du Parc.

Sunday, August 7, 22:30 to 5:00

  • Complete closure of westbound Autoroute 40 service lanes (i.e., Boulevard Crémazie Ouest) between Rue Jeanne-Mance and Avenue du Parc;
  • Complete closure of exit 71 Boul. St-Laurent / Boul. de l’Acadie on Autoroute 40 westbound;
  • The detour starts at exit 70 A-15 / R-117 / Laval / Ch. Rockland / Boul. Marcel-Laurin, along the Autoroute 40 service lane (westbound). Make a U-turn on Chemin Canora, follow the Autoroute 40 service lane (eastbound), turn north onto Boulevard Saint-Laurent and head west on Boulevard Crémazie Ouest.

From Monday, August 8 to Wednesday, August 24

  • Partial and complete nightly closures of Autoroute 40 (westbound) between exit 73 Av. Christophe-Colomb / Rue St-Hubert / Rue St-Denis and exit 70 A-15 / R-117 / Laval / Ch. Rockland / Boul. Marcel-Laurin.
  • The detour will follow the westbound service lanes of Autoroute 40 to the Autoroute 40 on-ramp south of Boulevard de l’Acadie.
