2026 Public Auction
A sale by public auction will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 10:00 at the municipal workshops located at 180 Clyde Road, to sell off municipal property and also bicycles that have been abandoned on public property for more than 60 days.
At this auction sale, Town of Mount Royal will proceed with the liquidation of its excess equipment, which includes goods found on the public domain (bicycles), Public Works equipment, IT supplies and various goods of all sort. Cash only.
A visit will be permitted starting at 9:30 on auction day.
Each purchase must be paid cash at time of sale. No certified cheque nor bank draft will be accepted. Items will be sold as seen. All sales are final and with no warranty. Buyers must leave with their goods.
As decided by Town Council, following the auction sale, any unsold item may be given to a nonprofit organization for reuse or recycling.
