February is Solidarity Month at the Reginald J. P. Dawson Library

From February 1 to 28, 2026, the Reginald J.P. Dawson Library will participate in the provincial initiative “We can stick together at the library, too!”, organized by the Ministry of Employment and Social Solidarity in collaboration with the Quebec Public Library Association (ABPQ).

This initiative aims to raise awareness among Quebecers about the importance of solidarity through simple, humane actions that are accessible to everyone.

For the occasion, a themed display will feature a selection of children's and adult books on solidarity. A food donation box will also be available to the public to collect non-perishable food items for those in need.

We invite the entire Townie community to discover the resources on offer and to take part in this solidarity movement throughout the month of February.
