A New Library Service to Care for Our Loved Ones

The Reginald-J.-P.-Dawson Library is pleased to launch two new bilingual activity kits designed for adults living with cognitive impairment. These kits are designed to promote moments of well-being and bonding with their caregivers.

Each bag contains a variety of items to stimulate memory, the senses, and creativity: adapted games, books, musical instruments, exercise tools, and more.

Initiated by the Pointe-Claire Public Library, this project was supported by the Bibliothèques des banlieues de l’Île de Montréal, a dynamic network that works together to enrich the services offered to citizens of Montreal's demerged cities, encourage innovation, and respond to the specific needs of their communities.
