"Good evening to all, thank you for joining us either from the comfort of your home or here at Town Hall after braving the winter elements.
Quartier Sportif & Communautaire
We have been working hard on putting together a presentation for the Quartier Sportif et Communautaire on February 1 and 2 that we hope will be clear, and answer any concerns and questions. We hope that this project will receive your support and will move forward.
Snow Removal
In regards to snow removal, I would like to thank our teams at the public works team for their work during the snow removal operations following the snowfall on Friday, December when we received 26 cm of snow. Our teams worked hard, and the snow removal operations were completed with all streets and sidewalks, cleared of snow and snow blown or picked up by Tuesday afternoon. We are aware that not every street or sidewalk was perfect on day one, and our teams have taken note of the few issues.
Once again we had snow last Friday, fortunately less than the previous Friday. Our teams were on the job over the weekend working and we continued into the beginning of the week. I would like to point out that snow removal operations are complex and that Mother Nature does not always cooperate in terms of timing or quantity of snowfall.
I wish you all a good meeting and hope that you and the silent majority of residents who are not often seen, will be with us on February 1 and 2."
