Terry Fox Run - 46th Edition - Sunday, September 20, 2026
On Sunday, September 20 2026, the community is invited to come together for the 46th Terry Fox Run, an iconic family event that embodies hope, solidarity and determination in the fight against cancer.
The Terry Fox Run, now an annual event at TMR every fall, brings together nearly 600 communities to raise funds for cancer research. These studies aim to improve diagnosis and treatment, not to mention the quality of life of cancer sufferers.
Since its creation, the Terry Fox Foundation has raised more than one billion dollars, all of which is dedicated to research on all types of cancer. This is made possible thanks to the thousands of volunteers who organize Terry Fox Runs across the country, keeping administrative costs to a minimum.
In Quebec, the Terry Fox Foundation invests an average of $12 million each year in some of the most promising cancer research projects. Every donation helps advance knowledge, improve treatments and save lives.
Participants can register online (below) or on site at 10:00 on the day of the event. The race starts at 11:00 on the track behind the Recreation Center (60 Roosevelt Avenue).
Walkers, runners, cyclists and supporters of all ages are welcome!
The day promises to be festive and fun, with face painting, balloon sculptures, clowns, children’s entertainment, a BBQ and a raffle, with tickets available for purchase on site.
