November 17, 2025: Scheduled Opening Date for the Deux-Montagnes Branch

Based on the tests conducted over the past few weeks—and if everything goes according to plan— the REM is pleased to inform you that the Deux-Montagnes branch of the REM will officially begin service on November 17.
Subject to a successful completion of the last tests, starting November 17, 14 new stations, 3 connections to the metro, and countless new possibilities will be available to our riders. Details about the launch activities for the Deux-Montagnes branch will be shared in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
Contest – Join the REM's Arrival
Join us to mark the commissioning of the REM, which will be rolling out between Central Station and Deux-Montagnes! By entering this contest, you could be selected to take part in the launch events on November 13 and participate in one of the following activities:
- A REM ride to be among the first to discover the network, between the McGill and Deux-Montagnes stations
or - Participation in one of the local opening ceremonies at one of the following stations: Édouard-Montpetit, Ville-de-Mont-Royal, Bois-Franc, Pierrefonds-Roxboro, Sainte-Dorothée, or Deux-Montagnes.
