On June 8, the Town of Mount Royal and the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) recognized the outstanding work of five members of the Public Security Department during a special recognition ceremony.
This distinction highlighted their professionalism, dedication, and exceptional contribution in connection with two recent incidents that occurred within the municipality. Through their swift response, composure under pressure, and commitment to community safety, these employees demonstrated the highest standards of public service.

For the occasion, Mayor Peter Malouf, accompanied by General Manager Ava Couch, Director of Public Security Edison Ramirez, and PDQ 9 Commander Mathieu Fournier-Landry, took the opportunity to recognize the quality of the interventions and personally congratulate the five Public Security members.
