Work in progress on the airside manoeuvring area continues. There was no long-term impact on the use of runways during the summer season. However, the new phase of the work will modify the circuits used for aircraft ground movements and these restrictions will require a change to the use of runways for landings and takeoffs when winds are southwesterly.

From September 30 to November 10, runways will be used as follows:

Southwesterly winds (change to the use of runways)

Runway use will be reversed. The South Runway will mainly be used for landings (instead of the North Runway usually used) and the North Runway will mainly be used for takeoffs towards Lac Saint-Louis (instead of the South Runway normally used).

Departures:

North Runway (24R) mainly used – north Dorval, Pointe-Claire
South Runway (24L) – south Dorval

Arrivals:

South Runway (24L) mainly used – south Saint-Laurent, TMR, Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension, Rosemont–La-Petite-Patrie
North Runway (24R) – north Saint-Laurent, Ahuntsic-Cartierville

Northeasterly winds (no change to the usual runway use)

Eastbound takeoffs mainly from the South Runway and landings mainly on the North Runway.

Departures:

South Runway (06R) mainly used – south Saint-Laurent, TMR, Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension, Rosemont–La-Petite-Patrie
North Runway (06L) – north Saint-Laurent, Ahuntsic-Cartierville
