As required by section 555 of the Act respecting elections and referendums in municipalities (R.L.R.Q., chapter E-2.2), a register was opened on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 9:00 to 19:00, with respect to By-law No. E-1907 to order the construction of a sports and community complex and a loan of $27,800,000 for that purpose.

The number of requests required for a referendum to be held was 931. The number of requests received is 938.

Following the results of the register, Members of Council intend, at the Regular Council Meeting to be held on Monday, November 18, to announce their decision on whether or not to hold a referendum.
