South Runway Closed for Rehabilitation Work – From March 25 to May 16, 2024

In order to maintain its facilities to reliability and safety standards, ADM must carry out work for the rehabilitation of the South Runway (06R-24L).

This year, ADM will carry out the work for the rehabilitation of the eastern section of the runway (demolition, construction of the infrastructure including drainage and completion with concrete slabs), the expansion of the 24L holding bay and the rehabilitation of the Romeo taxiway, including electrical work.

Phase 1: South Runway closed – From 6:00 on March 25 to mid-day on May 16

During this period, flights will be using the North Runway (Dorval north, Saint-Laurent north, Ahuntsic-Cartierville).

Phase 2: From May 16 to November 15 - South Runway operational with reduced length

The runway's length will be temporarily reduced during this phase of the work. Additional information on this phase will be sent in May.
