As in preceding years, Town of Mount Royal’s 2018 financial report, which was tabled at this evening’s regular Council meeting, shows the municipality to be in solid financial shape and announces yet another budget surplus, this time of $9,183,518.

Summer Office Hours & National Patriots' Day

In observance of the National Patriots' Day holiday, all municipal buildings will be closed on Monday, May 21, including the Recreation centre, the library, the arena and the town shops.

The new sports and community complex: construction to begin this fall

The Town is moving ahead with its preparations for the new sports and community complex. The architects and engineers are hard at work finalizing the plans and specifications, with the goal of launching construction this fall.

Tree info bulletin: It’s Springtime!

Spring has been felt well in recent weeks in Town of Mount Royal! Many trees have already started to produce flowers or small leaves, adding a pleasant touch of green throughout the Town.

The opening of buds, in order to let the leaves out in spring, is called budburst.
