Nature of work:

On May 21, 2019, work on the future Mont-Royal Station will begin on the east side of the railway. To facilitate this construction work, a new logistics zone will be set up on Canora Road, at the intersection of Regent Road. When required, it will be in use temporarily from 7 a.m. through 7 p.m. This logistics zone will eventually be permanently set up for the second phase of work by this Summer; a Works info will be released ahead of time.

  • Some of the work will require truck traffic in the neighbourhood; traffic patterns have been altered to minimize traffic and secure the construction zones. Flaggers and signs posted all around the construction site will ensure that pedestrians and vehicles can move about safely.
    • When required, one lane on Canora Road will be closed to vehicles between Regent Road and slightly before the intersection with Laird Boulevard during the day between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
    • Parking will be prohibited in the zone when the lane closure is in effect.
