Mount Royal, May 25, 2015 – Work begins today on a new dog run that will open to the public during the summer. Grassy, partially bordered by cedar hedges and fully enclosed, the new canine space will be located alongside Dunkirk Road between Montgomery and Glencoe avenues, slightly south of the facility it is replacing.

The Town is handling all the construction work. The new dog run will be more in line with modern taste and will have wider, concrete-paved entrances.

When completed, the new facility, with a surface area of around 2,500 square metres, will replace its predecessor, which was only 680 square metres in size.
