Mount Royal, March 9, 2009 – As of Monday, March 16, following a month of renovations requiring the temporary relocation of the Town Hall’s administrative activities, residents will once again be welcomed at the usual service counter, on the second floor, for all of their transactions. However, when they make their next visit to 90 Roosevelt Avenue, they will enjoy a much improved experience thanks to a complete makeover of the reception area.

In the past, residents had to deal with limited space within a very busy area when stopped at the service counter. They will now be received in a completely new space that is more user-friendly and better suited to protecting their confidential information. They can also sit at a lower counter if their visit requires them to fill out or consult documents on the spot which will prove useful, for example, when having to provide information needed for the administering of an oath.

Because the timing was right, most of the floor’s workspaces were also made over. The reconfiguration of the service counter is part of a general upgrading of the Town Hall offices, which became necessary over the years.

Mount Royal residents are urged to take advantage of these new facilities during regular business hours, Monday to Friday, between 8:30 and 16:30. As always, every effort will be made to provide them with the best possible service.
