- En bref
In the April 22, 2021 edition of its newsletter, Aéroports de Montréal (ADM) announced that with the objective of ensuring optimal management of the use of its facilities during the pandemic, it plans to operate on a single runway until the next winter period.
The north runway (06L/24R) will therefore be closed from April 23 till the end of the Fall period 2021.
During this period, flights will be assigned to the south runway (06R-24L) whose fligth plaths fly over south Dorval, south Saint-Laurent, Town of Mount-Royal, Villeray-St-Michel-Parc-Extension, Rosemont-La-Petite-Patrie.
Air activities continue to be greatly impacted by the pandemic. The average number of flights per day remains between 120 and 150 flights compared to 500 to 600 in 2019. There is no planned increase for summer 2021.
The Indicators section on the ADM website displays interactive indicators on air movements at YUL, including the total number of movements, movement distribution by runways, by airlines and aircraft types. It also makes available Complaints Indicators as well as the 2020 Annual Report on Soundscape.
