Earlier this spring, in the March 15, 2019 edition of its newsletter, Aéroports de Montréal (ADM) warned Townies that they would notice an increase in large jets (e.g. A330, B777, B787) flying above their heads, as a consequence of rehabilitation work being performed on Montréal-Trudeau's runway 06L-24R.

In the June 19, 2019 edition of its newsletter, ADM announced it has completed the first phase of the rehabilitation work on runway 06L-24R. Around midday, on June 20, the runway will reopen and operate at full length again, which in turn will revert runway assignment to how it was before the work began.
