In order to accommodate the current distancing directives and avoid gatherings, Town Council is asking interested residents to express their views in writing by January 28 – instead of in person – regarding the application for demolition at 2375, 2431 and 2459, Lucerne Road.


In accordance with Order number 2020-74 issued by the Government of Québec on October 2, 2020, any interested party may express themselves during a written consultation on the application for demolition at 2375, 2431 and 2459, Lucerne Road.

The 15-day written consultation was advertised on January 13 by way of public notice.

Application for demolition

The Demolition Review Committee of the Town of Mount Royal will hold a closed session meeting on Monday, February 1st, 2021 at 16:00. The recording of this meeting will be available on the Town’s website as of Tuesday, February 2, 2021.

Comments or opposition

Any person wishing to be heard by the Demolition Review Committee or wishing to oppose the granting of a demolition permit must provide written comments or an objection, with the reasons thereof, no later than January 28, 2021.

To be eligible, a comment must be:


  • be deposited in the mail chute at Town Hall, 90 Roosevelt Avenue, Mount Royal, Attention to Town Clerk.
