Councillor for District No. 2 and a member of the Quebec Order of Engineers, Minh-Diem Le Thi holds a master’s in telecommunications and a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from Université Laval in Quebec City. She has worked for several telecommunications firms and acquired solid experience in strategic planning of technology development. A volunteer teacher of young people and adults, she remains deeply involved in various cultural communities.
First elected a Town councillor in 2005 and re-elected for a third term in 2013, she has held seats on several committees and boards of directors. As such, she has been responsible for matters related to economic development, finance and urban planning. Ms. Le Thi currently serves as chair of the Council Commission on the Environment.
Elected with 68.57% of the votes in the 2017 general election.
