The Town of Mount Royal Youth Centre (TMRYC) is the perfect place to spend time with friends and make new ones. You won’t find a better spot for taking part in special events, playing exciting games or just chatting with friends.

All school year long, the staff helps you get the most out of your freetime.

Movies, sports events, pool and ping-pong tables, foosball and PS4: activities aren’t lacking! There is even a snack bar for when you get the munchies. Entertaining and full of energy, our staff will do everything to make sure you have fun.

Rules to follow at the Youth Centre

  • Members must take care of the equipment and inform the staff immediately of any defects or breakage.
  • Members agree to be respectful of the other members, staff, equipment and building. Rough-housing, insulting or being abusive toward others is prohibited.
  • Loitering in the restrooms, hallways or elsewhere in the Recreation Centre or surrounding areas is prohibited.
  • Members are responsible for any personal property they bring to the Centre.
  • Fighting and other illegal activities will not be tolerated.
  • Skateboarding and roller-skating activities are not permitted inside the Centre.
  • The use of alcoholic beverages, drugs or tobacco products will not be tolerated.
  • Any acts of vandalism or theft will be reported to the police.

Members are encouraged to provide feedback on how the Centre is run. We are especially interested in hearing members’ views on our new projects and activities.

The Youth Centre is also a club for 8 to 12 year olds

The 8-12 Club is exclusively for pre-teens between the ages of 8 and 12. The program takes place at the Youth Centre. A staff member is on site to organize structured, fun activities for the entire gang. Sports, arts and crafts, outings, board games and more are all on the agenda. Come by and see how much fun we have!
