Mount Royal, February 4, 2019 – Town of Mount Royal and the Borough of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce are pleased to announce the signing of an agreement that will once again give residents of the Glenmount neighbourhood special access to the Town’s recreational activities and facilities.

Just in time for the March registration for spring and summer activities, Glenmount residents will again enjoy access to early registration, placing them on an equal footing with Mount Royal residents and increasing the likelihood of their getting a place in their favourite activities.

On the other hand and in contrast to earlier arrangements, the agreement does not include a preferential rate for Glenmount residents. The agreement only gives them the possibility of early registration.

Under the new agreement, which remains in effect through December 2022, the Borough will pay the Town $40,000 a year before taxes for the access to recreational services.
