Tuesday, March 7

Au bout du fil, bilingual show

  • 10:30 to 11:30
  • Ages 2 to 7

Strands of yarn. Round balls, unravelled, interlaced—a myriad of coloured balls. They move! Little beings awaken, transform, merge... Two women bring them to life and weave connections, emotions and images. And what can we do with all these strands? Plaiting, tying, weaving, but what can we make of this interwoven mix?  

Wednesday, March 8

On the heels of great scientists, bilingual show

  • 10:30 to 11:30
  • Ages 5 to 13

Let's introduce youth to the great scientific inventors! They will travel back in time and have exciting encounters with: Robert Van de Graaff and the generator, Soren Sorensen and acids, William Sturgeon and the electromagnet, and finally Richard Gordon Gould and the laser. Lastly, young spectators will be given a first-class ticket to the mysterious world of chemistry and physics! New discoveries and lots of fun await! 

Slam, workshop in french

  • 18:30 to 19:30
  • Ages 10 to 18

The workshop will start on an exciting note: The presenter will perform some slam poetry and explain the poems' meanings, while sharing their life story (short biography). Next, the young participants will create their own poems, guided by the presenter's ideas, tips and tools. In the last 10 minutes, a few workshop participants will read their poems aloud in front of the group.

Magic, bilingual workshop

  • 10:30 to 11:30
  • Ages 5 to 13

In a relaxed atmosphere, Magislain will use humour to teach the children about his beloved world of magic.
