Bellebrute is a pair of youth authors and illustrators (www.bellebrute.com). Both workshops below will be conducted in French.

13:30-14:30: Dessiner l’impossible. The Bellebrute duo will start off the workshop with a short presentation, then young attendees will be invited to participate in a surrealist drawing activity by picking three sentences out of envelopes. Using some examples as inspiration, the children will create a picture. The exercise will give free range to their imaginations, allowing them to leave aside any notion of logic or what does or does not exist. Age 7 to 12.

15:00-16:00: Les coulisses d’un album. The Bellebrute duo offers a behind-the-scenes look at their book RAMURES. The two authors will describe their creative process, the steps in the book's creation, obstacles they overcame and what they learned throughout the adventure. Age 16 and up.

Both activities are free of charge, but you need to register: 514-734-2973.
